Shipper and Receiver (Welding Equipment Rental)

Location: Chicago, IL (RDA); Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM. This is an on-site warehouse role supporting welding equipment rental operations.

Salary: $24–$26 per hour plus bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare shipments, select shipping methods, and complete bills of lading and other shipping documents.
• Assemble containers and crates, pack goods, record contents, and apply shipping instructions.
• Oversee loading and unloading from trucks and other vehicles.
• Inspect incoming goods against invoices, record shortages, reject damaged items, and route goods to storage.
• Maintain manual and computerized inventory and shipping records.
• Perform warehouse duties, including stocking, pulling and packing orders, and local delivery and pickup of equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL license required for local delivery and pickup of equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, or other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and maintain accurate records.
• Experience with UPS software, bills of lading, LTL carriers, or expedited shipments is preferred.
