Security Engineer- Application & Cloud

What you will do

• Share an operate/build rotation covering findings triage, access questions, incidents, and customer security assessments.
• Tune AI security reviewers and triage agents, defining which decisions require human ownership.
• Build an intake and vulnerability triage pipeline for AI findings, bug bounty reports, penetration tests, and audits, including severity-based SLA tracking.
• Lead Google Cloud hardening across IAM, organization policies, and workload configuration.
• Choose and roll out code scanning and software supply chain controls in GitHub and CI/CD, including SCA, SAST, secrets scanning, package inventory, and malicious-package detection.
• Review authorization, identity, and tenancy designs, drive fixes with Platform, Web, and Backend teams, and create reusable security runbooks.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping security automation in production code.
• Experience applying LLMs or agents to security work and deciding where human review is required.
• Ability to read application code, identify authorization, identity, and secrets vulnerabilities, and explain remediation to engineering teams.
• Experience deploying security scanning in CI and converting findings into completed fixes.
• Experience securing IAM and workloads in a major cloud platform; Google Cloud is preferred, while AWS or Azure experience is acceptable.
• Ability to influence teams without direct management responsibility and move between incident response and security engineering work.
