TL;DR
Lead Test Automation Engineer (AI): Designing test automation frameworks and Quality Engineering solutions across multiple client engagements with an accent on Gen AI adoption, API testing, and reusable automation accelerators. Focus on building agentic workflows and MCP integrations, validating AI-generated outputs, improving flaky or slow test systems, and presenting technical solutions to client stakeholders.
Location: Ukraine; remote or office work

What you will do
- Design and improve test automation frameworks and Quality Engineering practices across multiple client engagements.
- Build reusable automation solutions and accelerators for delivery teams.
- Assess projects for slow regression cycles, flaky automation, insufficient test coverage, and other quality issues.
- Drive practical Gen AI adoption through AI-assisted test automation, agentic workflows, skills, subagents, and MCP integrations.
- Define AI guardrails, human review processes, proofs of concept, and technical solutions.
- Present solutions to client stakeholders and support technical discovery, solution design, pre-sales, mentoring, and engineering communities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Test Automation or Quality Engineering with strong current hands-on expertise.
- Strong experience with at least one of TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or comparable automation technologies.
- Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch and testing APIs across web and service-based applications.
- Practical experience with Gen AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar, including code generation, debugging, and prompt engineering.
- Advanced English is required for direct client communication.
Nice to have
- Mobile testing experience.
- Experience with AI infrastructure, agent skills, subagents, MCP servers, agentic workflows, pre-sales, technical assessments, or technical discovery.
