Senior Data Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end cloud data pipelines.
• Build complex data transformation logic for analytics and reporting.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with data architects, client stakeholders, and other partners on scalable and reliable data solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to data engineers.
• Monitor advancements in cloud technologies and data engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, including cloud-based solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, SparkSQL, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Data Storage Gen2, Kafka, and Azure Event Hubs.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, SQL, NoSQL databases, and Apache Spark.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, including mentoring junior engineers.

• Relevant Microsoft Azure data certifications.
