Accounting and Finance W-2 Consultant (Charlotte, NC)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; hybrid or fully onsite depending on client and project requirements.

What you will do

• Support general accounting, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, FP&A, and financial modeling.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting operations, cost accounting, product costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
• Support internal controls, SOX, audits, compliance, revenue and technical accounting.
• Contribute to ERP implementations, system upgrades, finance transformation, process improvement, and special projects.
• Assess client needs and provide hands-on expertise across accounting and finance functions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, depending on the assignment.
• Hands-on experience in one or more accounting or finance disciplines.
• Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work hybrid or fully onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina.

• CPA, CMA, or another relevant professional certification.
