Freelance Fantasy Content Creator (Sports)

Location: Fully remote from a non-hirify.global worksite, most commonly the employee’s residence; unrestricted work authorization in the United States is required. Availability for nights and weekends is required.

Salary: USD 200 per day

What you will do

• Write original, insightful posts covering daily sports news and events.
• Produce concise fantasy analysis on breaking news, injuries, transactions, and game results.
• Create fantasy analysis for live streams and video-on-demand content.
• Brainstorm and pitch creative approaches to coverage of key events.
• Collaborate with NBC Sports and Rotoworld writers and contributors to maintain near around-the-clock coverage.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in sports writing.
• Experience with fantasy sports writing and comfort using fantasy terminology.
• Strong editorial judgment across multiple sports properties.
• Experience with social media platforms, particularly X, Bluesky, and Instagram.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask, research statistics, and fact-check content.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with sports betting and playing fantasy sports.
• Familiarity with CMS and digital publishing environments.
• Knowledge of AP style and experience with video and audio editorial presentation.
