Market Data Analyst (Finance)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid workplace with home and office work

Gross monthly salary: €3,516–€5,021 for a 36-hour work week

hirify.global is a bank with an international Market Data Distribution Services team operating at the intersection of finance, data, and IT.

What you will do

• Deliver accurate and timely market data for market risk calculations, balance sheet management, and derivatives valuation.
• Manage historical market data and validate its quality against data governance standards.
• Translate internal customer needs into clear requirements for development teams.
• Help create automated and efficient data flows in collaboration with developers.
• Support migration from the current data warehouse to a new enterprise market data management system.

Requirements

• Completed master's degree in finance, economics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Interest in financial markets, data, and IT, with careful analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ownership of work, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Clear communication in English and ability to work effectively in an international team.
• Relevant experience may come from study projects, internships, traineeships, part-time work, or a first professional role.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, or another market data provider.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or VBA.
• Experience in a finance, data, or business-focused role.
