Location: Lincolnwood, Illinois, United States

Salary: $22–$45.15 per hour, based on experience, ASE certifications, and training.

Berman Hyundai operates an automotive service department supporting Hyundai vehicle maintenance and repairs.

What you will do

• Assist with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
• Work alongside senior technicians on engine, transmission, suspension, and other complex repairs.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Use Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools.
• Document repair orders and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in an automotive repair or maintenance setting.
• ASE certifications.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns.
• Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and take direction from senior technicians.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to develop hands-on problem-solving skills.
