Manager, IT Audit (AI)

Location: Remote anywhere in Canada

Base salary: CAD 120,000–165,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead planning, execution, and reporting for SOC1, SOC2, and financial statement IT audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors and partners across Engineering, Finance, Legal, and People.
• Implement and monitor IT general controls and SOX compliance frameworks as part of IPO readiness.
• Identify control gaps, assess risk exposure, and develop remediation plans.
• Build AI-enabled audit workflows to reduce manual effort and scale compliance operations.
• Manage, coach, and develop the IT audit team while maintaining accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT audit, internal controls, or information security, including at least 2 years in people management.
• Expertise in SOC1/SOC2 audits, IT general controls, and SOX compliance frameworks.
• Active CISA certification required.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent audit programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Experience using automation or AI tools to improve audit and compliance workflows.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical controls to senior stakeholders.
