Senior Data Risk Manager (Asset Management)

Location: Utrecht, with the role based in Amsterdam. Fully office-based during onboarding, then on-site two days per week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

What you will do

• Advise on the implementation of data management policies and control objectives from a second-line risk perspective.
• Draft and align data management control objectives based on the evolving Data & IT landscape.
• Lead a CFRO user-awareness programme on data management with Compliance.
• Advise the Management Board and Risk Committee on data management risks.
• Own data management risk-profile reporting within Enterprise Risk Management.
• Coach the permanent business-as-usual team and share knowledge.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in data management at a financial institution, preferably banking.
• Experience in a comparable role, ideally within a first- or second-line risk function.
• Ability to bring data management risks under control and make them demonstrable and auditable.
• Ability to work in an international environment with Data & IT domain specialists.
• Energetic, decisive, and persistent approach in a fast-changing environment.
• Not open to freelance or self-employed ZZP professionals.
