Architectural Drafting Assistant (CAD)

Location: Remote from the Philippines or South Africa; part-time, approximately 20 hours per week spread over 2.5 to 3 days.

What you will do

• Produce accurate CAD drawings for interior design and millwork projects.
• Translate specifications, dimensions, appliance details, and design information into clear technical drawings.
• Prepare first-pass drawings based on the architect’s direction and supplied project information.
• Revise and amend drawings accurately in response to feedback.
• Manage assigned drafting work and complete drawings within agreed timeframes.
• Communicate with the architect to clarify specifications and confirm revisions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in architectural drafting or a similar technical drawing role.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and experience producing architectural drawings for interior projects.
• Good understanding of architectural dimensions, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to interpret project briefs, work independently, follow direction, and incorporate feedback.
• Strong time management and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and ask for clarification when needed.
