Birdseye develops AI-driven remote facility supervision hardware and software for the trucking and logistics industry, providing security, safety, and operational support.

What you will do

• Design single-agent and multi-agent systems.
• Build tool-use and function-calling workflows that interact with software, data, and other AI models.
• Design feedback loops, evaluation frameworks, and autonomous workflows with human review where appropriate.
• Develop agent capabilities for planning, memory, delegation, coordination, and multi-step task execution.
• Improve reliability, observability, and failure recovery in agent systems.
• Explore approaches to long-running and self-improving AI systems.

Requirements

• Understanding of modern AI systems and agent design.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to design agent architectures and workflows.
• Ability to work with multi-agent systems, tool selection, planning, and task decomposition.
• Ability to evaluate agent failures and design feedback and evaluation loops.
• Ability to read current AI research and apply relevant ideas independently.
• Strong AI portfolio, GitHub, or project experience; graduate students in relevant technical fields are especially encouraged.
