GCC Content Strategy Lead

What you will do

• Own and execute GCC country content strategies for Canva’s templates and elements, driving relevance, scale, and business impact.
• Manage content quality, cultural relevance, health, production workflows, and performance across discovery, search, recommendations, and editorial surfaces.
• Use internal and external data, local feedback, and market trends to improve content strategy and user engagement.
• Partner with the MENAP Country Manager, Design Lead, SEO, Localisation, Creators, Product, Marketing, Social, PR, and regional teams.
• Build relationships with local creators and partners to grow the content ecosystem.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in content strategy, regional business strategy and operations, partnerships, or similar roles in high-growth content, media, marketplace, or global technology companies.
• Deep understanding of local content, trends, aesthetics, and user needs in the relevant market.
• Strong analytical, strategic, execution, stakeholder management, and production workflow skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with ambiguity and change.
• Arabic language skills and relevant cultural knowledge are required.
• Ability to work effectively across different time zones.

• SEO experience.
• Experience with AI-supported workflows, creators, partnerships, localisation, or bespoke content production.
