Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote in LATAM, the UK, or the US

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 for LATAM; £85,000–£100,000 for the UK; $155,000–$185,000 for the US. UK and US packages include equity and bonuses.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for SaaS and on-premise engineering environments.
• Operate and optimize AWS and other cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, security, and performance.
• Develop internal platform tooling, CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, and developer self-service capabilities.
• Improve observability and incident response through monitoring, alerting, and SLOs.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to improve internal platforms and support software delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to security, compliance, documentation, onboarding, and internal support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a B2B software startup.
• Strong AWS experience, including EKS/Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, or Loki.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or shell scripting, with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with CDC or event streaming, or with scaling multi-tenant observability systems; experience in SOC 2 or security-focused environments is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MQTT, AMQP, or other messaging technologies.
• Familiarity with the NetBox ecosystem or network automation tooling.
• Open-source contributions.
• Experience with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
