ML Engineer

Location: In-person at the NYC HQ in Union Square, New York City

Salary: $175K–$300K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Train and optimize large-scale video and multimodal generation models.
• Improve training and inference efficiency across memory usage, latency, cost, GPU utilization, parallelism, and throughput.
• Apply distillation, quantization, and pruning to accelerate diffusion and autoregressive generation.
• Build and maintain distributed training systems and experimentation, evaluation, and debugging tools.
• Translate research models into robust production systems and monitor their performance in real-world usage.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, machine learning, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional industry experience.
• Strong experience with deep learning systems and infrastructure.
• Expertise in PyTorch, CUDA, Triton, and distributed training, including FSDP.
• Experience scaling and optimizing large models for low-latency inference, with strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
• Ability to move quickly from prototype to production and work in person at the NYC headquarters.
