Analytics Engineer (UK Cards)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid schedule with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays

What you will do

• Build and improve data models supporting lending decisions, pricing, portfolio analysis, and investor reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust ELT transformation pipelines for analytical datasets.
• Collaborate with analysts, product teams, backend engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
• Support analysts at different technical levels and promote analytics engineering standards.
• Triage pipeline issues and improve the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of data transformations.

Requirements

• Strong analytics engineering fundamentals and data modelling skills.
• Experience with ELT pipelines and transformation at scale, ideally using dbt.
• Experience with Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative approach to improving data workflows.
• Comfort using AI tools to improve analytical and engineering workflows.
