Operational Excellence Team Leader (Manufacturing): Leading plant-wide continuous improvement, OPEX planning, and performance improvement projects with an accent on Lean, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, and measurable financial impact. Focus on developing operational excellence capabilities, coaching employees, managing improvement workshops, and embedding standardized methodologies across manufacturing operations.
Location: Badr City, Egypt; onsite plant-based role

What you will do
- Lead annual Hoshin Kanri and Continuous Improvement planning with plant management, defining targets and tracking progress.
- Deploy and sustain the plant OPEX system, including standards, manuals, routines, methods, and improvement tools.
- Manage OPEX investigations, improvement projects, internal audits, and Performance Improvement Plan activities.
- Drive project savings and ensure measurable financial impact is reflected in the P&L.
- Develop training and coaching plans, lead Train-the-Trainer activities, and facilitate Continuous Improvement workshops.
- Share best practices across the plant, country, and wider organization while building a culture of operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, production, or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, CI, problem-solving, performance management, VSM, KATA, and Makigami.
- Experience leading improvement projects, workshops, and cross-functional teams.
- Good English communication and presentation skills, along with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with Hoshin Kanri, OPEX systems, training and coaching, or Train-the-Trainer programs.
- Experience with OPEX or Lean audits and PMO/project management.
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
