Project Finance Analyst

Location: Madrid, Spain. Candidates may apply from anywhere in the world, but roles based in Spain require candidates to have the right to work in Spain or be eligible for visa sponsorship and be physically present in Spain by the first day of employment. Candidates may relocate to Spain beforehand; relocation support is not automatically provided.

What you will do

• Re-forecast projects according to hirify.global policies and procedures to support accurate revenue recognition.
• Prepare forecasts, revenue profiles, budgets, project financial analyses, and month-end reports.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and collaborate with project managers and project directors across diverse teams.
• Set up new projects in the ERP system in line with contracts and SOX regulations.
• Calculate and post monthly subcontractor accruals, manage client billing, and support aged-debt collection and WIP reduction.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a finance function, ideally within professional services.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and financial modelling.
• Experience using financial systems; Maconomy is currently being adopted.
• Keen to study or already studying toward a finance qualification.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal, written, organisational, prioritisation, and self-motivation skills.
• Right to work in Spain or eligibility for visa sponsorship, with physical presence in Spain by the first day of employment.
