Senior UX Designer (Digital Accessibility): Evaluating digital products and user journeys against WCAG 2.2 AA while improving accessibility across products, design systems, and cross-functional teams with an accent on manual testing, inclusive design, and actionable remediation guidance. Focus on identifying issues missed by automated tools, testing keyboard and screen-reader interactions, and building accessibility practices into product development.
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Flexible hybrid working model.

What you will do
- Evaluate digital products and key user journeys against WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Conduct manual accessibility assessments using keyboard-only navigation, screen readers, and tools such as NVDA, VoiceOver, and JAWS.
- Identify and prioritise accessibility issues based on user impact, severity, and delivery constraints.
- Translate findings into actionable guidance and backlog-ready remediation items for UX, product, and engineering teams.
- Review UX work, contribute to usability testing with people with disabilities, and improve accessible design systems and interaction patterns.
- Contribute to accessibility standards, methodology, training, and awareness initiatives.
Requirements
- Senior UX Design experience with a strong focus on digital accessibility and inclusive design.
- Hands-on experience assessing products against WCAG 2.2 AA and conducting manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.
- Experience with NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS, or similar tools, combined with automated testing and UX judgement.
- Ability to provide practical accessibility feedback and turn findings into actionable improvements.
- Experience with usability testing involving people with disabilities, design systems, accessible components, and patterns.
- Strong collaboration skills across UX, product, engineering, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Relevant accessibility certification or current training, such as IAAP WAS, CPWA, CPACC, DHS Trusted Tester, or W3C WAI training.
- Equivalent demonstrable accessibility experience.
