Entry Level Outside Sales Trainee (Automotive)

Location: Dayton, Ohio during the 12-month training program, followed by relocation to an assigned sales territory in the United States. Training includes field work and overnight travel 80–100% of the time.

What you will do

• Complete a 12-month sales training program combining classroom instruction and field-based training.
• Study dealership operations, sales techniques, and negotiation skills at Reynolds University.
• Shadow a Sales Mentor, observe sales calls, and assist with customer interactions.
• Travel with customer service and installation teams to build product knowledge.
• After training, sell assigned products and services to new and existing automotive customers.
• Achieve designated monthly and annual sales quotas within an assigned territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong time management, customer relationship-building, and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel with overnight hotel stays 80–100% of the time during training.
• Willingness to relocate to an assigned territory after successful completion of training; relocation assistance is provided.
• Valid driver’s license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI, DUI, or DWI violations in the last five years.
