QA Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Extend and maintain automated testing frameworks for front-end, back-end, and API components.
• Develop behavioral and end-to-end test automation strategies with software developers.
• Investigate, document, and resolve complex software defects in agile backlogs.
• Work with senior developers, quantitative users, and data scientists to improve code quality, correctness, and test coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development or QA automation experience at Mid/Senior level.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Pytest, and Playwright.
• Deep understanding of API testing and automated framework design.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Shell, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with AWS services and container orchestration ecosystems.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher for daily technical communication and interviews.
• Must be a resident of Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience working with data scientists or quantitative teams.
• Experience with WireMock, pytest-mock, Allure, ReportPortal, NumPy, Pandas, or SQLAlchemy.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Airflow.
• Strong automation experience with alternative stacks such as JavaScript.
