TL;DR
Senior Product Owner - International Business (Insurance): Developing and commercialising data-driven insurance products and services through product vision, backlog ownership, roadmap prioritisation, and stakeholder collaboration with an accent on customer value, agile delivery, and financial modelling. Focus on validating product hypotheses through A/B testing, usability testing, and demos, managing technical debt and cross-squad dependencies, and using KPIs to guide product improvements.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work
Base salary: €3,300–€5,400 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do
- Set and communicate product vision, priorities, roadmaps, and high-level squad backlogs.
- Incubate and commercialise innovative products and services using data, customer insight, demos, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Manage backlog transparency, stakeholder alignment, technical debt, acceptance criteria, timelines, and budget delivery.
- Create business cases with financial forecasts, market segmentation, and clear value propositions.
- Foster cross-squad cooperation, manage interdependencies, remove impediments, and support collaboration with Product Area Leads.
- Develop KPI data and performance tracking to inform business strategy and future product improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role managing and prioritising product backlogs in an agile environment.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with practical experience in A/B testing, usability testing, and product validation.
- Experience developing business cases, financial forecasts, market segmentation analyses, and value propositions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and alignment skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and squad-based or scaled agile delivery models.
- Professional proficiency in English required.
Nice to have
- Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
- Familiarity with ADO, Confluence, or similar product management tools.
- Experience collaborating with Product Area Leads in a scaled agile environment.
- Knowledge of KPI development and performance measurement frameworks.
- Experience incubating or commercialising products, facilitating workshops, and co-creating roadmaps.
