TL;DR
HR Business Partner (AI): Building the strategic People function for AI-native mobile and web product verticals with an accent on leadership coaching, employee lifecycle management, compensation and benefits, and practical AI adoption in HR. Focus on advising business leaders, navigating complex employee relations, delivering strategic people projects, and aligning teams across Barcelona and Istanbul.
Location: Hybrid role based in the Barcelona HQ; candidates must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate

What you will do
- Partner with business leaders and the Vertical CEO on people management, leadership development, and complex employee matters.
- Coach first-time managers, run training, facilitate workshops, and provide constructive challenge.
- Own the full employee lifecycle, including sensitive processes such as terminations, with legal grounding and consistency.
- Lead compensation and benefits work, including benchmarking, internal equity, and manager decision support.
- Bring practical AI-focused thinking into People processes and lead strategic projects from idea through delivery.
- Build trust and alignment across the Barcelona and Istanbul offices and a cross-cultural international workforce.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR generalist in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Experience influencing, coaching, and challenging confident business leaders while building stakeholder trust.
- Hands-on experience with compensation and benefits, including benchmarking and related conversations.
- Practical curiosity about AI and how emerging tools can improve People practices.
- Strong communication skills across different seniority levels, cultures, and contexts.
- Fluent English is required, and candidates must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

- Spanish and/or Turkish language skills.
- Experience working alongside engineering or technical teams.
