Industrial Cost Analyst (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Build and maintain a single source of truth for factory data from production, procurement, design, and logistics.
• Define data ownership, validation, update workflows, formats, and reporting cadence.
• Own the factory cost model, including assumptions, scenarios, sensitivity analysis, and figures used for client quotes, CAPEX planning, and make-or-buy decisions.
• Recalculate models when technologies, outsourcing decisions, or designs change, maintaining source traceability across dependent outputs.
• Maintain cost and capacity snapshots for factory releases and track plan-versus-actual convergence.
• Prepare cost breakdowns, sensitivity ranges, validity periods, and other decision-ready outputs for management.

Requirements

• Experience in cost analysis, cost engineering, or industrial controlling in manufacturing, automotive, or construction.
• Experience building and owning cost models end to end, including assumptions, scenarios, and sensitivity analysis.
• Strong knowledge of should-cost analysis, BOM and process costing, make-or-buy comparisons, and CAPEX modelling.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and working knowledge of Python or SQL for automated recalculations and version control.
• Ability to collect data from engineers, buyers, and designers and turn incomplete inputs into actionable management information.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field; professional working English required.
