Full Stack Developer 2 (Django, FastAPI)

Salary: $191,000–$234,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and modernize a full-stack mission management and workflow automation application.
• Build system features and backend APIs based on customer requirements.
• Implement updates driven by evolving mission requirements.
• Support the automation development team through code reviews, software-engineering expertise, and enabling functions.
• Modernize and harden the platform, including migration to Kubernetes, system upgrades, and additional security features.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Eight years of experience, plus a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Experience building full-scale applications and APIs with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm chart authoring, and CI/CD integration.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dagster, Airflow, or other data orchestration platforms.
• Full-stack development experience with React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
