Online Programmer (Online Services - Player Identity) (.NET Core/AWS): Building and operating secure, scalable player identity, authentication, profile, and user-action services for Ubisoft games with an accent on RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and production reliability. Focus on designing microservices, integrating account services across the platform, and solving complex scalability, security, and operational challenges in a live-service environment.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, debug, and support online player identity services.
- Build and evolve account, authentication, profile, and user-action services used across games.
- Design RESTful APIs and microservices in a distributed systems environment.
- Support production systems and live services while improving reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Assess architectural risks and technical trade-offs, estimate development effort, and contribute to delivery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and drive technical initiatives from concept to delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant professional software development experience, including designing and supporting production systems.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Core.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, distributed systems, microservices, cloud services, and Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code quality tools, version control, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, reliability, performance, security, and technical risk assessment.
Nice to have
- Experience with C++ and SDK development.
- Experience with React and modern web application development.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, AWS Aurora RDS, and ElastiCache Redis.
- Experience with DevOps, operational ownership, Grafana, Kibana, SonarQube, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
- Experience with large-scale online platforms, SaaS solutions, or gaming services.
