Professional Services Engineer (AppSec)

Location: Remote from Brazil, São Paulo; CST (Americas) standard business hours

What you will do

• Consult on the design, planning, implementation, and management of customer application security programs.
• Support secure SDLC deployments and provide operational engineering across multiple customer accounts.
• Design and document complex implementations aligned with customer goals, KPIs, and technology stacks.
• Build custom integrations and automation, including work with CI/CD systems, REST/SOAP APIs, languages, and frameworks.
• Train and coach customers on the hirify.global platform, secure coding practices, and implementation best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, identify product gaps, develop workarounds, and share customer insights with internal product teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with Java, .NET, Python, or mobile technologies.
• Ability to read and understand code quickly, with experience using source control, build servers, and bug-tracking tools.
• Experience with customer-facing technical engagements, solution design, implementation, and technical training.
• Fluent English and Spanish are required; Portuguese is a plus.
• Availability during CST Americas standard business hours is required.
• Application security experience, including penetration testing or code review, is a strong advantage. A degree is preferred; a Master's degree or CISSP is a plus.
