Software Engineer, Linux Platform Systems (C++)

Base salary: £42,900–£64,300 gross per year in Zone A.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core Linux platform support for hirify.global’s engine.
• Work on low-level engine systems supporting Linux targets, including SteamOS and cloud-enabled partnerships.
• Investigate and resolve bug reports to improve platform stability.
• Strengthen quality and delivery through automated testing and thoughtful code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Program Management, Engineering, and QA teams to bring new engine features to Linux platforms.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C++ development and software engineering.
• Experience developing on Linux desktop distributions.
• Ability to debug, diagnose, and solve problems throughout a codebase.
• Understanding of profiling and optimization methods.
• Professional English proficiency is required for regular written and verbal communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.
