Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Base salary: DKK 702,200–1,053,400 gross annually, depending on primary work location and experience.

What you will do

• Conduct security design reviews and risk assessments for production systems.
• Apply threat modeling and AI capabilities to identify, prioritize, and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
• Perform information security assessments for projects and products and support infrastructure security initiatives.
• Develop and enforce security standards and policies for systems used across hirify.global.
• Deploy, maintain, and improve secure system configurations according to established standards and best practices.
• Support the secure adoption of AI-powered engineering tools and protect AI/ML infrastructure, including model endpoints, data pipelines, and inference environments.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and architectural security reviews.
• Experience with microservices technologies, containers, Kubernetes, and HashiCorp Vault.
• Automation experience using Bash, Python, Terraform, and/or Ansible.
• Knowledge of AuthN, AuthZ, PKI, session management, logging, network security, TCP/IP, operating systems, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and email security.
• Understanding of securing AI/ML infrastructure and emerging risks such as prompt injection and model or data poisoning.
• Professional English proficiency is required for frequent communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Nice to have

• Experience with NIST, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2 frameworks.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, adapt to changing business requirements, and communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Strong critical thinking skills and an interest in expanding technical expertise.
