Test Automation Engineer (C#/Java)

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warsaw, with three office days per week

Salary: 800–1,100 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design, implement, and execute automated test cases for system integrations using C# or Java.
• Create in-sprint automation, including developing test cases and executing them manually when needed to understand application flows.
• Review requirements and technical designs from a testing perspective and contribute to the team’s overall test strategy.
• Manage test data and dependencies, monitor results, report and verify defects, and recommend corrective actions.
• Work with the Agile Scrum team on quality assurance, risk mitigation, and daily impediment resolution.
• Improve and extend the existing test framework.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with more than four years in automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with C# or Java test automation.
• Commercial experience with Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience with XML, JSON, SQL, CI/CD, Git, and sanity and regression test plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus experience with Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of the banking or financial industry and English communication in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Jira.
