Senior IT Analyst (Data & Analytics)

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia or Gdańsk, Poland, with 2–3 days per week in the office

Salary: 800–1,050 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Bridge business stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality IT and data solutions.
• Gather business objectives and requirements, translating them into features and user stories.
• Support the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions for risk management, regulatory reporting, and business decision-making.
• Analyze end-to-end business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive requirements analysis, solution refinement, data validation, and delivery decisions.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and contribute to Agile planning, refinement, testing, delivery, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Analyst, Business Analyst, Solution Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills, including reading, writing, and analyzing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, data quality, data validation, and data hygiene.
• Experience with Hive, large-scale data environments, Big Data concepts, and modern data ecosystems.
• Ability to manage complex business and functional requirements, drive features and investigations independently, and collaborate with business and technical teams.
• English communication skills for daily work in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Python experience for scripting, automation, or data analysis.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark.
• Experience with solution design in data and analytics environments.
• Exposure to data governance, data modelling, data engineering, or Agile delivery.
