TL;DR
Software Engineer 3 (TypeScript/JavaScript) (Atlas Growth): Building customer-facing MongoDB Atlas features such as AI-assisted cluster creation, database performance recommendations, and conversion-focused pricing experiences with an accent on TypeScript/JavaScript development, experimentation, and database-driven product work. Focus on leading small engineering projects, designing and reviewing technical specifications, iterating with product and design partners, and supporting owned features in production.
Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid working model

What you will do
- Build and iterate on customer-facing features for Atlas, including experimentation-driven growth initiatives.
- Write readable, well-tested code using TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with product, design, analytics, and research partners to improve owned features.
- Write project scopes and technical specifications, and lead small working groups of two or three engineers.
- Participate in code and document reviews, support triage, alert handling, and the group-wide on-call rotation after onboarding.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with a modern framework such as React.
- Experience writing database queries for document-based or relational databases.
- Experience writing and reviewing technical specifications and leading small projects.
- Interest in A/B testing or product design.
- Must be based in Dublin to work within the hybrid model.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Java, Go, C++, C, or another compiled language.
