Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (Java/.NET)

Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States

Salary: $81,900–$161,100 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain enterprise software applications.
• Build software solutions for complex initiatives spanning multiple technology domains and systems, including Project Ascension.
• Lead story refinement, estimation, backlog grooming, and Agile delivery activities.
• Drive feature-level architecture and design discussions while contributing to product architecture and long-term technology strategy.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and business teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and code reviews while improving engineering practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience with SQL development, database design, query optimization, and DDL/DML operations.
• Java or C#/.NET development with Spring Boot, Spring Java, Spring MVC, JPA, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing frontend applications with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular.
• Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs, integrated application architectures, and cloud technologies; Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Experience with Agile delivery, TDD, CI/CD, automated testing, and enterprise-scale distributed software development.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI and document integration, including Boomi or Axway.
• Experience using Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
