Senior Security GRC Engineer, AI & Automation

Salary: $104,300–$193,700 base salary annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines that collect, normalize, and validate security and compliance evidence.
• Evaluate and deploy AI and LLM-based solutions for control testing, evidence review, policy mapping, and risk narrative generation.
• Integrate GRC platforms such as Onspring, Archer, and MetricStream with security and IT systems through APIs.
• Develop scripts, bots, dashboards, and workflow tools for evidence gathering, control monitoring, and audit preparation.
• Partner with Security GRC analysts, program managers, security, engineering, data, and business teams to automate manual processes.
• Establish guardrails and quality controls, and monitor the reliability, performance, and risk posture of AI and automation tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, GRC, or a related field, including automation or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong programming and scripting skills with Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies, plus experience with APIs, databases, and workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience applying AI, machine learning, LLMs, or generative AI to business or security use cases.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI DSS, risk assessment, control frameworks, and audit evidence requirements.
• Experience configuring or integrating GRC platforms and communicating technical solutions and their risk and compliance impact to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
