TL;DR
Senior Operational Technical Product Manager (Application Delivery/Technical Product Management): Leading product teams and delivering secure, resilient enhancements and operational support across multiple business applications with an accent on technical ownership, application modernization, governance, and regulatory compliance. Focus on translating business priorities into roadmaps and backlogs, managing incidents and releases, reviewing GitHub pull requests, and coaching engineers across regional initiatives.
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do
- Lead and coach a multi-location product team delivering application enhancements and operational support.
- Own end-to-end delivery, including scope, planning, sprint execution, quality gates, release readiness, and post-release support.
- Manage application availability, performance, security, lifecycle planning, incident and problem management, and root-cause analysis.
- Define technical roadmaps and modernization strategies while establishing architecture, change control, quality assurance, and testing standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders and regional Marsh Tech colleagues across APAC, including Japan, to manage priorities, dependencies, governance, risks, resources, and budgets.
- Review GitHub pull requests and coach engineers on code quality, security, design patterns, and architectural consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in solution development, design, and technical delivery.
- Strong technical leadership, people management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and modern development frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid development methodologies, as well as security, privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience with technology strategy, roadmap planning, and IT budgeting or cost management.
Nice to have
- Japanese language proficiency.
- Experience in insurance or financial services.
- Exposure to regional projects, particularly in Japan or Korea.
