Global Specialist, Regulatory Affairs

Location: Remote role based in Tlalnepantla, Mexico

What you will do

• Conduct regulatory compliance reviews of raw materials used in flavors, food ingredients, and related products.
• Obtain, review, and evaluate supplier documentation to determine ingredient compliance and approval status.
• Assess regulatory, scientific, and technical information against global regulations, customer requirements, and internal policies.
• Provide regulatory guidance to R&D, Creative, Quality Assurance, Production, and other functions.
• Identify compliance risks, recommend resolutions, and maintain regulatory records and approvals.
• Support new raw material introductions and manage multiple compliance reviews throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or another science-related discipline.
• At least 4 years of regulatory compliance experience in the food, flavor, ingredient, chemical, or related industries.
• Experience reviewing supplier documentation and assessing raw material compliance.
• Knowledge of food ingredient, flavor, and raw material regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, is required.
