What you will do

  • Manage assigned medical information clients through implementation, ongoing oversight, meetings, escalations, audits, invoicing, and performance tracking.
  • Act as the liaison between client stakeholders and the Medical Information Contact Center.
  • Lead, mentor, and train staff while monitoring proficiency, resources, procedures, and service quality.
  • Triage and respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers across phone, email, CRM, and chat.
  • Identify and document adverse events and product complaints in accordance with client procedures and FDA post-marketing reporting requirements.
  • Develop medical information content, evaluate medical literature, support product quality processes, and contribute to operational improvements and field training.

Requirements

  • Pharm.D. degree required.
  • One to two years of medical information and/or pharmaceutical industry experience required; two to five years preferred.
  • Experience in medical information contact centers, drug information, or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Ability to critically evaluate medical literature and provide scientifically balanced, evidence-based responses.
  • Knowledge of adverse event reporting, safety terminology, product complaints, medical information systems, Microsoft Office, telephony, and video conferencing platforms.
  • Project management, time management, communication, mentoring, and client service skills.

Nice to have

  • Advanced healthcare degree or Pharm.D. beyond the minimum requirement.
  • Therapeutic expertise in oncology, hematology, immunology, rare disease, neurology, cardiology, or another specialty area.
