Test Automation Engineer (Java, Payments/Swift) - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

Location: Warsaw, Poland, with preferred locations in Warszawa, Gdańsk/Gdynia, or Łódź; 3 days from the office.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Java.
• Validate payment flows, Swift MT/MX message formats, and banking APIs.
• Define test strategies and coverage with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate resolutions with development teams.
• Support compliance with financial regulations and security standards while mentoring junior testers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in test automation using Java.
• Experience with JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or Rest Assured.
• Strong knowledge of banking and payment systems, including Swift MT/MX, SEPA, and ISO 20022.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or GitLab CI, Git, JIRA, and TestRail.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with JMeter or Gatling for performance testing.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of security testing in financial applications.
• ISTQB or another relevant certification.
