Senior Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer, Social Graph

Location: Roblox HQ in San Mateo, California; no remote option. Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday through Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.

Base salary: $196,750–$243,290 USD per year, plus potential equity compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and ship frontend-leaning features across the stack.
• Develop systems and applications supporting the Roblox social graph and player connections.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams on features used by tens of millions of users.
• Own projects end to end, including planning, execution, experimentation, and impact measurement.
• Develop new zero-to-one features that support user engagement and retention.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building full-stack systems, including backend services, APIs, and frontend applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience writing code and shipping user-facing features.
• Ability to adapt across technology stacks and solve problems independently.
