Manual Tester (Banking Domain)

Location: Hybrid in Poland, with preferred locations in Warsaw, Gdańsk/Gdynia, or Łódź; 3 days from the office

What you will do

• Analyze business and functional requirements for banking and payment systems.
• Design and execute manual test cases for end-to-end payment flows, including SWIFT message validation.
• Perform regression, integration, and system testing across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to support quality and compliance.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
• Validate transaction data integrity and support UAT and production verification.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in the banking domain.
• Experience with payment systems, SWIFT messaging, transaction processing, and banking workflows.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and standards, including ISO 20022, AML, and KYC.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 20022 or MT/MX SWIFT formats.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
