Senior Quality Assurance Tester (Mortgage Banking)

Location: Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Łódź, Poland; hybrid work with 2–3 days per week in the office

Rate: up to 110 PLN/h

What you will do

• Perform end-to-end testing of applications and surrounding ecosystems in the mortgage domain.
• Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, create test cases, and execute manual functional tests across complete user workflows.
• Test system integrations, data flows, third-party integrations, APIs, and PEGA functionality.
• Document and track defects, collaborate with developers on resolution, and perform retesting and regression testing.
• Participate in refinement sessions and Agile ceremonies with business analysts, developers, and product owners.
• Prepare test status reports and quality metrics, support release readiness, and contribute to UAT activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software testing experience with a strong background in the mortgage domain.
• Strong manual testing experience across functional, system, integration, API, and PEGA testing.
• Practical experience with Pega, REST API testing, E2E testing, and test management tools such as qTest, Xray, or HP ALM.
• Experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence.
• ISTQB Foundation-level testing knowledge and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Polish and English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Knowledge of Postman collections, REST Assured, Cypress, or similar API automation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and microservices-based architectures.
• Experience testing modern web and mobile user interfaces.
