Functional Lead – Finance Digitalisation & AI Transformation

Location: Barcelona, Spain or Prague, Czech Republic. Hybrid work with work from home up to 2 days per week, depending on team needs. Up to 30 days per year may be worked from any location in the world.

What you will do

• Define and deliver the finance digitalisation and AI roadmap, from use-case prioritization through adoption and value realization.
• Lead functional development of Oracle Financial ERP, connected finance platforms, core modules, integrations, and end-to-end processes.
• Improve management, statutory, and operational reporting, including reconciliations, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support.
• Strengthen financial controls, auditability, segregation of duties, approvals, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management.
• Apply responsible AI, intelligent automation, analytics, process analysis, and process mining to identify risks, bottlenecks, anomalies, and automation opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across Finance, IT, Risk, Data, and business teams while coaching and upskilling colleagues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in finance digitalisation, financial systems and ERP, internal controls, reporting, process improvement, and team leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Financial ERP and enterprise-scale finance transformation.
• Functional expertise in financial systems, core finance modules, integrations, process design, reporting, reconciliations, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of financial controls, audit requirements, data governance, security, regulatory compliance, and operational risk.
• Practical experience applying generative AI, intelligent automation, analytics, workflow tools, reporting platforms, APIs, and secure systems integration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Professional finance certification such as CPA or CFA.
• Experience with Oracle reporting and analytics tools such as OAC or OTBI.
• Knowledge of treasury platforms such as Kyriba.
• Experience with process-mining platforms or methodologies in ERP-based finance processes.
