Director of Agency Operations

Location: Berlin, Germany; candidates must have the legal right to work in Germany or be eligible for case-by-case sponsorship and must be physically located in Germany by the first day of employment.

What you will do

• Lead operational excellence across the integrated Events, Outreach and Production organisation.
• Improve quality, consistency and efficiency across complex communications, engagement and events programmes.
• Develop scalable delivery frameworks, governance models and ways of working across multiple teams.
• Partner with senior leaders on operational risk, delivery performance, resource planning and budget management.
• Strengthen collaboration across Events, Outreach, Production and Client Services.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery through AI, automation and other technologies while supporting workforce planning and skills development.

Requirements

• Significant senior leadership experience in an agency, communications, events, consulting or integrated delivery environment.
• Strong operational and commercial acumen, with experience improving efficiency, quality and performance.
• Experience developing scalable operating models, governance frameworks and delivery processes.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional programmes and teams.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate strategy into effective execution.
• Legal right to work in Germany or eligibility for case-by-case sponsorship, with physical presence in Germany by the start date.
