Network Engineer - Professional (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Validate complex firewall opening requests across multi-vendor environments in line with PCI DSS and internal security policies.
• Assess network risks and identify, mitigate, and prevent potential security vulnerabilities.
• Analyze enterprise rulebases and remove unused, duplicated, or disabled firewall rules.
• Schedule and execute firewall cleanup activities while coordinating deployment validation with the Change Advisory Board.
• Improve internal firewall compliance tooling by classifying bugs, opening tickets, and proposing code or process patches.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in network or security operations within complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA and FTD firewalls.
• Operational experience with AlgoSec or Tufin firewall management and compliance automation tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment principles, and PCI DSS requirements for network traffic.
• Strong technical rigor, attention to detail, independent working ability, problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration in multicultural technical teams.
