Project Industrial Cybersecurity Expert (ICSE)

What you will do

• Take technical ownership of cybersecurity topics in industrial and energy projects.
• Analyze customer requirements and derive cybersecurity measures for IT and OT systems.
• Develop and coordinate project-specific security concepts and assess system and network architectures.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments and define mitigation measures.
• Implement hardening measures for automation systems, networks, servers, workstations, firewalls, and switches.
• Coordinate security solutions with engineering, software, network, automation, commissioning, customer, and supplier teams; document implemented measures.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Experience with cybersecurity for industrial systems and a solid understanding of IT, OT, and industrial automation/control systems.
• Knowledge of network architectures, firewalls, routing, switching, network segmentation, and industrial server and client systems.
• Experience with system hardening, vulnerability assessment and management, and threat and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIS2, and the Cyber Resilience Act; familiarity with NERC CIP and BDEW is advantageous.
• Very good English is required for collaboration with projects, customers, and international partners.

Nice to have

• Basic penetration testing experience.
• German language skills.
• Familiarity with NERC CIP and BDEW.
