Senior .NET Developer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, with candidates required to live in Portugal or be legally qualified to live and work there. Listed locations: Lisbon and Coimbra.

Salary: €35,310–€54,400 gross per year.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET.
• Create well-structured, testable, efficient code following .NET development best practices.
• Integrate relational databases, APIs, and other systems.
• Work with CMS-based web applications such as Sitecore, Umbraco, DNN, or comparable platforms.
• Use Agentic AI tools including Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot for development, refactoring, and complex debugging.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on innovative digital products and client projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# or .NET.
• Background in software development and a clear understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Strong proficiency in writing structured, testable, and efficient .NET code.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server, and API or system integrations.
• Experience with CMS-based web applications.
• Fluent spoken and written English, and legal qualification to live and work in Portugal.
