What you will do
- Manage and resolve incidents, problems, changes, escalations, and service requests.
- Monitor production applications and implement health-check and observability capabilities.
- Analyze incidents using logs, static data, databases, and configuration settings, escalating to third-level support when needed.
- Maintain an end-to-end view of SEPA and Instant Payment processing chains and assess operational impact.
- Act as a gatekeeper for production changes by reviewing impact assessments, functional and non-functional test reports, and deployment readiness.
- Develop improvement plans, preventive measures, and automation while contributing to new product introductions.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or a comparable background with several years of professional experience.
- Hands-on expertise in SQL, Unix/Linux, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Grafana, scripting, and technical writing.
- ITIL certification and knowledge of XML/XSD, SEPA, monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, and collaboration platforms including Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
- Experience with REST and SOAP integration, message-based mechanisms, encryption, authentication, authorization, Java 8+, cloud platforms, CI/CD, microservices, deployment automation, and software security.
- Experience with AI adoption and automation, data analytics using GCP or another cloud platform, and agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Fluent German at B2-C1 level is required.
