Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Logistics)

Location: Alsip, Illinois, United States; onsite production environment with rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as required

What you will do

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments and verify quantities against production requirements.
• Schedule freight loads through customer systems and reconcile load information in company and customer platforms.
• Maintain shipment, inventory, finished-goods, and customer-order data in SAP and Transplace.
• Generate bills of lading, packing lists, reports, and customer scorecards.
• Report shipment discrepancies and load exceptions while communicating with carriers, customers, project managers, production, and shipping teams.
• Participate in customer conference calls and maintain a safe, clean, and accurate work area.

Requirements

• Knowledge of logistics and inbound/outbound shipments.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping and receiving documents.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate with a wide range of roles.
• Ability to work in a production environment with moving equipment and people while maintaining constant safety awareness.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
