Commissioning Specialist (Turbomachinery)

Location: Mabank, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week

Salary: $112,704–$169,056 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the primary solutions expert and parts-support contact during assigned commissioning projects.
• Resolve technical problems involving diagnostics, modifications, repairs, parts, manpower, and project schedules with field personnel and district leadership.
• Prepare commissioning dossiers, status documentation, startup checklists, cost records, quality issue reports, and project files.
• Coordinate departments and field activities to ensure commissioning follows established procedures and project requirements.
• Ensure customer acceptance, complete punch lists, close commissioning reports, and transfer completed files to Customer Services.
• Recommend new tooling, develop commissioning procedures when needed, and support engine configuration and ordering for the DeSoto Overhaul facility.

Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Experience with hirify.global package systems, including fuel, start, lube oil, and seal systems, or equivalent turbomachinery products.
• Ability to understand and read electrical and mechanical package drawings for hirify.global or equivalent turbomachinery products.
• Experience supporting commissioning activities for turbomachinery products.
• Technical knowledge and administrative skills to build a commissioning dossier.
• Troubleshooting experience or equivalent ability to identify solutions for field commissioning activities.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to define priorities and manage multiple technical and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of customer focus, information capture, products and services, decision-making, effective communication, priority management, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
