Manager, Accounting Advisory - Physician Practices (Healthcare)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; travel up to 10%.

Salary: $113,000–$153,000 per year, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare benchmarking data, key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Present reporting packages and findings to healthcare clients.
• Provide technical accounting support and identify operational inefficiencies through client discovery sessions.
• Lead US and offshore engagement team members and coordinate high-quality deliverables.
• Coach staff and senior accountants on accounting and financial reporting matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 4–6 years of experience in public or private accounting.
• 3+ years of experience managing associates or teams.
• Healthcare industry experience, including post-acute care, skilled nursing, or hospital experience.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with strong planning, organizational, project management, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or another professional certification.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and other industry accounting software.
• Ability to embrace new technologies and promote constructive change.
